I leave this weekend to go home for a week. I am being replaced by a cousin from Canada who is coming to spend the week with the kids.
Thank you so much for your prayers!! This blog is to keep friends and family updated after our shocking discovery on Sept. 5, 2008 that I have kidney cancer (at age 34). This news came just less than 3 months after we adopted our 2nd son from Vietnam. Thank you so much for praying for our family!! God is good!

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Steve, for 9 years. I am a stay-at-home mom to our 3 precious children, Kevin (age 4), Kien (age 1 , adopted from Vietnam in June 2008), and Aria (age 1, adopted from Vietnam in Nov. 2008).

Thanks for updating the blog Nina. I was thinking of the family while I was out of town... so many heartbreaking stories, but Kevin's little smile is a ray of hope.
